Central Park West Prasada

The 12-story Prasada located on Central Park West and 61st was built in 1907 by Franklin & Samuel Haines and designed by Charles W. Romeyn and Henry R. Wynne. The clients, passionate collectors of mid century art and furniture, bought a 5,000 square foot apartment in the building with sweeping views overlooking Central Park West. Working with furniture dealer Larry Weinberg of Weinberg Modern, 2Michaels drew upon their shared design DNA to create a warm and livable home. The subtle color scheme in the apartment was inspired by a Milton Avery Painting owned by the client. Furniture by Greta Grossman, Florence Knoll, Edward Wormley, and Warm Bennett, lighting by Pierre Guariche, Stilinovo and Josef Frank are just a few of the pieces selected throughout the space.
