Astor Place

The client, a recent bachelor, wanted the bland, newly constructed three bedroom 3,000 sq. ft. apartment to reflect his love of art deco design. Influenced by Paul Frankl’s Skyscraper series, he commissioned a custom fireplace flanked by two bookcases. 2Michaels chose furniture that was streamlined and classic but in keeping with the Art Deco feel of the apartment. A custom desk and bookcase was also designed for the busy lawyer’s home office.
